This initiative seeks to provide educators with tablets as part of a comprehensive Learning Resource Package.
To realize this ambitious goal, a dedicated portal "NIPUN Bharat Digital Initiative Unified Portal", and a Mobile App has been meticulously crafted. This Portal and Mobile App, streamline essential functions, including the management of educator data, the distribution of tablets, scheduling of device allocation, event inspections, and numerous other critical processes.
Ans. Teachers and other educators appointed in the Parishadiya Primary Schools of Uttar Pradesh, those are operational under the purview of Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, are eligible to receive the tablets under the scheme "NIPUN Bharat Digital Initiative". As on 10 October, 2023, it is proposed to distribute tablets to 209863 teachers.
Ans. Educators do not require registering or applying on any portal to avail the scheme benefit. They will be informed about the status by their respective School or Concerned Authority through SMS/Email/Notice/Official Website or any other suitable communication channel. Teachers in certain schools in Uttar Pradesh have already been finalized by the Basic Education Department to receive the tablets under this scheme.
Ans. Anyone can access this portal and website of NBDIUP. Parishadiya Primary Schools of UP/Institutions, Nodal Officers at District, BSA, Block, UPDESCO and other bodies authorized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh or Basic Education Department, GoUP from time to time, will be able to access this portal. Also, the designated persons do not have to get themselves registered on the portal. There logins will be created by the authorized users of Portal after which their Login details will be sent on their registered Mobile No. and Email ID.
Ans. No charges or fee has been imposed by the Department on Teachers/Educators to avail the benefit. This benefit is completely free for the beneficiaries.
